Google reCAPTCHA
On this website we use the reCAPTCHA service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA.
reCAPTCHA is used in order to check whether the data entered on our website (such as on the registration form) has been entered by a human being or by an automated program. In order to do so, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information such as your IP address, how long you have been on our website, your input behavior as well as mouse movements in the area of the “reCAPTCHA” checkbox plus further logfile information. The data collected during this analysis will be forwarded to Google.
Data processing with regard to the usage of the service reCAPTCHA is legally based on Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to avoid abusive automated crawling and spam and thus to make this website safer.

Newsletter data
If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on this website, we will need from you an e-mail address as well as information that allow us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and consent to the receipt of the newsletter. Embedded videos
In order to embed videos into our website we use the services provided by the platform Podcampus.de. Podcampus is operated by Multimedia Kontor Hamburg gGmbh, Saarlandstr. 30, 22303 Hamburg.
When you click a video, your IP address, the site from which you access it, the date, time, the operating system and the browser you used are automatically stored in the log files created by the server. This is necessary in order to display the content.
The processing of the information stored in the log files is only anonymous for statistical purposes (such as to analyse the use of which pages are accessed, which browsers are used, etc.), so that the services can be improved, protected and developed further. Podcampus saves your IP address anonymously; they do not log the last three digits.
Data processing with regard to the integration of content is legally based on Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to make this website more interesting and educational through different media formats.
Matomo analytics service
Our website uses the Matomo, an Open Source web analytics service. Matomo uses so-called cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and allow us to analyse the usage of our website. For this purpose, the usage information generated by the cookie (including your truncated IP address) is transmitted to our server and stored for usage analysis purposes, which in turn serves to optimize our website and to make a scientific evaluation of the usage. Your IP address is immediately anonymized during this process so that you as a user remain anonymous to us. The information generated by the cookie about your usage of this website remains on HAW Hamburg servers and will not be disclosed to third parties.
