Reference: Call for Papers for a Special Issue of the International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education
The International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education https://www.emeraldgrouppublishing.com/journal/ijshe (IF 4.120) is the world´s only journal which focuses on aspects of sustainable development at universities.
Since its creation in the year 2000, the journal has been playing a key role in documenting the evolution of sustainability processes in higher education, being now central to the academic debate on matters related to sustainability at universities.
We are currently planning a special issue of IJSHE titled “Networking and Joint Actions in Fostering Sustainability in Higher Education”. The aim of the special issue is to document and promote experiences of cooperative efforts within (internal networking) and between higher education institutions (external networking), in furthering the cause of sustainability at universities. They can be on-campus greening, operations, research, teaching or outreach activities.
In particular, we are looking for examples of successful experiences, case studies, projects and other types of joint activities, where full use is being made of the transformative power of networking, as a means to mobilise people and resources, leading to concrete outcomes.
